Kraken is rolling out an invitation-only VIP program aimed at ultra high net worth clients, active traders and institutional capital allocators who want more than a standard exchange account. The service, branded Kraken VIP, is designed for users who keep at least 10 million dollars on the platform or generate 80 million dollars in annual trading volume, according to company materials.
Each member is paired with a dedicated relationship manager who serves as a direct point of contact and is backed by 24/7 support teams and specialist desks across product, engineering, liquidity, custody and infrastructure. Kraken says VIPs will also receive early access to new features and product previews, along with tailored insights intended to help them navigate large portfolios and complex trading strategies.
The package goes beyond pure trading perks. Kraken is pitching “extraordinary experiences” that include invitations to Formula 1 races, top-tier football matches, cultural events and private regional meetups that are not open to the general user base. The idea is to combine private banking style service with lifestyle and networking benefits, giving wealthy clients a closer relationship with senior Kraken staff and other high net worth users.
Co CEO Arjun Sethi frames the move as part of a broader effort to set a new standard for premium crypto service as the exchange prepares for a planned U.S. listing in 2026. Rival platforms such as Binance have already introduced similar “prestige” tiers, and Kraken’s launch signals that the competition for ultra-wealthy capital is shifting toward bespoke support, privacy and exclusive access rather than only low fees or fast execution.
